Arrowhead Story
The story behind the Johnston arrowhead is rooted in the founding of Johnston. George Johnston believed the American Indians were the first tool distributor. Indians created arrowheads from multiple materials such as flint, stone, metal, and other hard materials and were used to hunt and gather.
The arrowhead was drawn by George himself and the writing of Johnston was Patty's own handwriting. For more than 40 years the Johnston Arrowhead has not been altered and serves as a reminder that our past is very much linked to our future.
